Wet Wednesday’s Midweek Music Scene, Dec 3 2014

.
.
We open this edition with a sad note of news just in. IAN McLAGAN, best known as the keyboardist for legendary English rock bands SMALL FACES and FACES, died today at the age of 69. He also collaborated with the ROLLING STONES and led his own band for decades. According to a source at the hospital in Austin, Texas – the town where he lived – he died after suffering a stroke.

There is a tribute and obituary in Paste Magazine online, at: www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2014/12/ian-mclagan-1945-2014.html

Thanks to singer-songwriter Amilia K. Spicer for letting us know.
